The Sauvie Island Volunteer Fire Fighters Association wishes to invite you to a free pancake breakfast!
The Volunteer Fire Fighters have been working very hard not only answering all 911 calls on the Island, but also creating the kitchen that was not part of the original construction. The space was allocated in the building, but the actual equipment is now in place- everything from the sinks to the immense hood over the gas ranges- has been purchased, installed and working!
Thanks to YOU, the neighbors who donated money, parts and pieces as well as lots of encouragement, the kitchen is functioning and the Firefighters are cooking you breakfast Saturday morning! Show up between 8 AM and 11 AM to eat and have a great visit with your neighbors.
If you are new to the Island, this is a perfect way to meet some of the neighbors.
Our Island is protected by our totally volunteer fire department- if you are interested in helping in any way please talk to one of the volunteers as there is a very real need for more people to volunteer in numerous ways.
